The Kind Campaign has planned a day called Kind Camp, which will take place in Los Angeles on February 22nd – and actress/singer/and pro-ballroom dancer from “Dancing with the Stars” Julianne Hough will be lending her support as host.

Proactive is sponsoring this first-ever, one-day event about the power of kindness.

One-hundred sixty young women from middle school and high school will attend, to participate in interactive activities and hear inspirational speakers who will encourage the girls to develop healthy relationships with others and themselves so that they are able to go after their dreams and better the world with confidence.

Kind Campaign has brought much needed attention to the issue of female bullying and I am honored to be a partner in this new project,” said Hough. “The world needs more acts of kindness and it is events like Kind Camp that can help transform the way young women interact, support one another and help them to achieve a true view of their inner worth and beauty.”

Kind Campaign was founded by Lauren Paul & Molly Thompson, after they made a documentary film about girl-against-girl bullying, Finding Kind. The film will be shown to Kind Camp participants at the end of the day.
